Director profiles:

Andrew Austin, Director

Andrew has served in the senior management teams of blue chip businesses such as Mars, Courtaulds and ASDA, having experience in both Operational and HR Director positions.

He has been a Senior Partner with US and international Executive Search firm Heidrick & Struggles Inc. where he had wide ranging experience of senior appointments across many industries, including at CEO and main board level in the UK and internationally.

In 2000, with Anthony Broadhead, Andrew founded Interim Leaders Ltd.

Mike Matthews, Chartered FCIPD - Director

Mike has more than 10 years experience in executive sourcing, as Managing Director of the Orpheus Consulting group he worked closely with the late Gary Long, successfully completing many senior and board level assignments in the UK and Mainland Europe including Managing Directors, Board appointees; General Management, Sales, HR, and senior level Buying and Engineering roles.

Prior to this he held senior executive and board roles with Argos, Asda Wal-Mart and The Whitworths Group following many years HR experience in Retail, FMCG and Local Government.

Malcolm Benson - Director

Malcolm is an experienced, professional Chief Executive from a Blue Chip background with 20 years senior management experience

He has operated in a cross section of industries and markets including confectionery, sporting goods, print and packaging, garment manufacturing, mobile technology and retail media, this brings a breadth of experience and a deep understanding of most market dynamics.

Classical, professional, blue chip background - 15 years with Mars Confectionery – managing sales team, training, operations, account management and special retail projects

Operated as an MD since 1985 in consumer goods, manufacturing and distribution

CEO roles since 2001 to date focused on mobile technology, sporting goods, manufacturing, media and franchising

Ray Jardine

Ray entered the field of Human Resources after a 20 year commercial career with Shell International

He has been HR Director of blue chip companies in both permanent and interim arenas and until recently he was CEO of a European recruitment and training company.

His experience covers many sectors and functions. He has an MSc in Human resources, is an accredited coach, a Master practitioner in NLP. and a Chartered member of the IPD

Ray has 10 years experience as an interim and knows how to get the best from an assignment for both the Client and the interim manager.

Ray is based in Edinburgh and covers Scotland and the North of England
